Gearbox tuning

Gearbox tuning also referred to as transmission or TCU tuning , involves making adjustments to the electronic control unit software of the transmission. 

The purpose of gearbox tuning is to optimise the transmission’s performance and characteristics allowing for faster gear shifts, higher torque allowance and adjustments to the gear shifting points maximising the vehicles performance potential. 

We can tune gearbox software on most VW group vehicles with DSG gearboxes and also a range of vehicles equipped with the ZF automatic transmission.
